Partnering and Repeat Business

Kershaw has a long established track record of partnered and repeat business relationships.

Kershaw’s on going relationship with Waitrose goes back over 16 years, with on going contracts from new stores, refurbishments, store extensions and conversions.

Our relationship with Cambridge University goes back even further with more recent contract including SBI, CCI and the Department of Mathematical Sciences, all of which had M&E values in excess of £3.5 million.

Cineworld has been a major client and partner with Kershaw’s for almost 12 years having carried out the Mechanical services on the very first Cineworld multiscreen cinema in Stevenage.

From this first project, Kershaw’s have undertaken 38 new sites with a mechanical services value in excess of £22 million.

St Andrews Hospital in Northampton has been an active client over the last three years with Kershaw’s completing the mechanical services on the new Malcolm Arnold House and the recent Smyth House facilities at the Northampton site.

Kershaw has entered in a number of successful selected supply chain relationships, being careful not to partner with main contractors that operate within the same fields or locations as each other, enabling Kershaw’s to offer the best possible value and commitment to all of our partners.

Kershaw has previously undertaken 18 projects for Waitrose and a number of refurbishment and extensions for John Lewis.

Multi screen cinemas are the most successful partnership’s to date for which Kershaw has carried out the mechanical services installation on 44 new projects for Cine World and Warner Village over the past seven years.

The leisure industry is also a popular sector Kershaws having carried out for Whitbread new David Lloyd leisure centres at Leicester, Warrington and Kidbrooke, and Virgin Active leisure centres at Islington and Wandsworth.

Kershaws has completed fourteen Bhs contracts since 1995. The new Bhs store in Durham the first fully partnered project.

In addition to the client relationships Kershaws is signed up partners with main contractors - Simons, and Balfour Beatty midland region and is in the process of approval with a number of further clients and main contractors.
